In his speech, Regent Iskandar Kamaru expressed his gratitude for the continuation of the Joint Dawn Worship Program, which has been running for a decade. According to him, the success of this program is inseparable from the commitment and consistency of all elements of the community and civil servants in maintaining and implementing it.

“Alhamdulillah, since it was initiated by our predecessor, the late H. Herson Mayulu in 2016, the PISB activity is still running well today. For that, I give high appreciation to all ASN and the community who remain steadfast in carrying out our flagship regional program,” said Iskandar.

He also expressed his appreciation and thanks to Ustadz Abdul Somad for accepting the invitation of the regional government and the people of Bolsel to attend the tenth anniversary commemoration of the program.

“Welcome to Bolsel, Mr. Ustadz. Thank you for taking the time to visit the southernmost region of North Sulawesi Province. The Joint Dawn Worship Program itself has become a regional identity that reflects the spirit of tolerance and religious moderation. Every week, this program involves the community and ASN to perform worship according to their respective beliefs. Muslims perform the dawn prayer in congregation at mosques, Christians worship in churches, while Hindus perform worship at temples.

In front of thousands of congregants, Ustadz Abdul Somad expressed his admiration for the commitment of the Bolsel government and community in maintaining a program focused on strengthening spiritual values.

According to UAS, the sustainability of PISB for ten years is an achievement that is not easy and deserves appreciation. In fact, he encouraged that similar concepts could be implemented in various other regions in Indonesia as an effort to strengthen the religious life of the community.

“Programs like this are worthy of emulation and replication by other regions in Indonesia,” said UAS in his lecture.

On that occasion, UAS also presented ten important notes as material for evaluation and strengthening of the Joint Dawn Worship Program in the future. These notes are expected to serve as a guide so that PISB continues to grow and provide broader benefits to the community.

The tenth anniversary commemoration of PISB is not only a moment for reflection on the program’s journey over the past ten years, but also a tangible proof of synergy between the government and the community in preserving religious values, unity, and harmony of social life in South Bolaang Mongondow Regency.
