Warita.net – The Regent of South Bolaang Mongondow (Bolsel) Hi Iskandar Kamaru, S.Pt, M.Si., along with Deputy Regent Deddy Abdul Hamid, received a working visit from the Head of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) North Sulawesi Representative Office, Bombit Agus Mulyo, and his staff, at the Regent’s Office, Panango Office Complex, Thursday (23/04/2026).
The meeting was warm and served as a strategic momentum to strengthen synergy between the regional government and the audit institution, especially in maintaining transparent and accountable financial governance.
On that occasion, Regent Iskandar emphasized the full commitment of the Bolsel Regency Government to be cooperative during the examination process, including in providing the necessary data.
“We need to convey that for the development of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDMP), Bolsel is currently the highest in North Sulawesi as it has reached almost 50 villages out of a total of 81 villages. In addition, our health coverage or Universal Health Coverage (UHC) has reached 97 percent,” he explained.
He also highlighted the regional government’s consistency in fulfilling its obligations, including the monthly BPJS reconciliation and the full payment of Employee Income Allowances (TPP) amidst fiscal pressures.
“This momentum is very important for us to receive guidance so that regional financial governance continues to operate in accordance with legal corridors and government accounting standards,” said Regent Iskandar, who was also accompanied by Regional Secretary M. Arvan Ohy, SSTP, MAP, Assistant Regional Secretaries, Regional Inspector, and Head of BPKPD.
Meanwhile, the Head of the North Sulawesi Representative Office of BPK RI expressed appreciation for the seriousness of the Bolsel Regency Government in following up on the recommendations from the audit results. BPK also informed that in the second semester of this year, the focus will be on examining the implementation of the Free Nutritious Food (MBG) program, while also reminding the importance of regional budget efficiency.
“We see the seriousness of the Bolsel Regency Government in following up on the audit results. In the second semester, BPK will focus its examination on the implementation of the MBG program, and continue to encourage regional budget efficiency,” he stated.
At the end of the meeting, Regent Iskandar and Deputy Regent Deddy expressed their gratitude for the guidance provided, and hoped that BPK’s guidance would continue to improve the quality of the regional financial statement opinion.
